Collectables

Limited Edition Lithographs

There is no way Gladys could fill the demand for her original wildflower artwork so she has created prints of six of her favorite wildfowers. Each print is taken from an original watercolor and is printed on 100% acid free, museum quality paper. Each is 12 x 15 inches and is signed and numbered by Gladys. Only 693 of each print were produced and each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Why Limited Edition Lithographs?

Q. What is a Lithograph?
A. A print made by Lithography which is a process using stone or metal. Fine craftsmanship is needed to obtain a true and faithful reproduction.

Q. What is a Limited Edition Lithograph?
A. Only so many prints (693 of Gladys Galloway prints) are made. The plate is then destroyed, asuring no other copies will be made.

Q. What kind of paper is used?
A. Collectors should insist on acid free, non-yellowing, 100% rag papers that are designed to last hundreds of years if properly matted, glassed, framed and hung away from direct sunlight, moisture and high temperatures.

Q. Why signed and numbered Lithographs?
A. This assures quality control and certifies the print has been personally inspected and approved by the artist. Many collectors like to order the same number on all their prints.

Q. What about investment future?
A. Only prints that are truly limited in number should be considered with investment in mind. An artist can only create so many originals and although the painting has been reproduced, the prints are still relatively rare -- which is an important part of their value.

Now you can hang a beautiful Gladys Galloway wildflower on your wall for every day enjoyment and study, or give as a very special gift to very special people.
