We also offer an arrangement for Schools, similar to the Shows exchange pages. We offer this special page in exchange for either a full-page ad for PPIO in your school program book or, if you do not have a program book, some other means of advertising PPIO at the school (such as circulation of the PPIO flyers at the school sometime during the session). October 31, 1999	The access to the artist/teacher/company web pages and catalog pages on PPIO has been enhanced. Instead of having to go to the separate "Web Pages" or "Catalogs" page to get to the list of these pages, a "drop-down" listing is provided, listing each page and a short description, right on the PPIO home page. By selecting a page from the list and clicking the "GO" button beside the listing, you are taken directly to the selected page.

October 9, 1999	Charter Membership in PPIO is closed and the Members Only section has replaced the link to the Introductory Tour. This is the page where PPIO members logon for access to the features of the PPIO web site which are only accessible to PPIO members. In addition, there is a "Learn to Paint" page where you will find links to some of the Beginning China Painting Lessons which were available before in the Introductory Tour section. These lessons, accessible to all visitors, will give you an idea of the quality of the on-line lessons for members of the PPIO organization. In addition to the links for these beginning lessons, the "Learn to Paint" page also has "thumbnail" pictures related to the on-line lessons which are currently in the Members Only section. There are a few Charter Memberships which were received, but they have not been posted to the Charter Members page yet. These will be posted this weekend.

The symbols (S, C and W) are explained at the top of the main Charter Members page. We have a new sponsor, Connie Stein, listed on the Sponsor's page. Thank you, Connie, for your generousity and support. You may have noticed that there is a new link on the PPIO Home page, the PPIO Flyer Page. This page is provided because of a suggestion that we display a "Flyer" on the PPIO site so that those of you who want to distribute flyers with information about the site and mailing list, (at shows and other china painting gatherings), can print this page. You can either print it several times or print it once and make copies. You can print it in color (as it is displayed) or turn off the color option on your printer to print a black and white version, which looks pretty good. Several new listings of studios on the Studios page for the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, New York, Ohio, Texas and Washington state. The Studios page has also been revised. The listing of states at the top of the page formerly contained only the states for which there were studios listed on the page. Now all states are on the list and only those in which there are studios listed are displayed as a link. The others are plain text. This arrangement facilitates adding new studios, in the future, to states which formerly had no studios listed. If you have a studio and it is not listed on the Studios page, you can email Marci Blattenberger at marci@ppio.com to make arrangements to have it added to the page.
